Industrial RFQ comparison & business systems
Make better supplier decisions from the quotes you already have.
I help industrial and OEM companies compare supplier quotations, normalize commercial terms, identify hidden gaps, and make clearer sourcing decisions.
Independent, buyer-side comparison for one live industrial RFQ.
For a live, non-critical requirement with two or three quotes already received.
The problem
The lowest unit price may not be the best first order.
Quotes often arrive on different commercial bases. The comparison needs to show what is known, what is missing, and which trade-off the buyer is actually making.
The entry offer
One RFQ. Up to three quotes. A clear next decision.
Supplier Comparison Sprint is buyer-side commercial decision support—not a supplier-search mandate or formal approval process.
You provide
- One non-critical RFQ or requirement
- Specification and decision criteria
- Intended quantity and needed date
- Two or three existing supplier quotations
I deliver
- A normalized price, MOQ and lead-time comparison
- Stated freight, payment and other commercial terms
- Missing-data and sourcing-risk flags
- Desktop-evidenced capability observations where available
- A concise 1–2 page decision brief and recommendation
Clear scope
A comparison, not a purchasing department.
Need supplier search or a managed RFQ process? That can be scoped separately after the requirement and decision owner are clear.
Designed for buyers who already have two or three quotes to compare. If you're earlier in the sourcing process, we can first check whether a separate sourcing scope makes sense.
Not included in the entry sprint
Supplier search or outreach; RFQ distribution or chasing; factory audits; formal supplier qualification; samples; technical approval; contracts; purchasing authority; or guaranteed savings. Landed cost is not guaranteed without documented freight, tax and trade-term inputs.
Practical proof
What a comparison can reveal.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE. All suppliers, quotes and figures below are invented. None is technically approved.
| Supplier | Unit price | MOQ | First-batch stated spend | Lead time | Payment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | $18.20 | 500 | $9,380incl. $280 stated freight | 4 weeks | 50% deposit; balance before dispatch |
| B | $15.40 | 1,000 | $16,4901,000 units incl. freight + setup | 7 weeks | 100% prepaid |
| C | $19.10 | 250 | $9,550freight stated as included | 3 weeks | Net 30 days |
A has the lowest stated spend for 500 units. B has the lowest unit price, but its 1,000-unit MOQ creates 500 extra units and US$7,110 more first-batch spend than A. C costs only US$170 more than A, with a one-week shorter stated lead time and later payment. Each option has open questions; the recommendation is conditional.

Put commercial data on a common basis.
Show trade-offs and the next decision.

- Conflicts are screened before work is accepted.
Next step
Have one RFQ that is difficult to compare?
Send me a short description of the requirement and the quotes you already have. I’ll first confirm whether it fits the Supplier Comparison Sprint.
A short, non-confidential outline is enough for the first check. Please do not include drawings or sensitive quote details yet.
